Ishida Tech Solutions, Ltd.
The personal and professional home of Brad Ishida

About - June 6, 2008

This is the page where Brad Ishida talks about himself in third person. Brad Ishida always gives 110% to his game and gives the fans what they want–just like his favorite former NBA player, Karl Malone. I am known to occasionally slip back into first person when writing “about” pages, but hey…Brad Ishida isn’t perfect.

Brad lives in Worthington, Ohio with his lovely family of 4. Brad has a B.S. in Computer Information Science from THE Ohio State University–although the degree has since changed its title to Computer Science and Engineering. Brad started his college career in Salt Lake City, Utah but transferred from the University of Utah back to his home state of Ohio to complete his degree at OSU. Brad still has many friends and extended family living in Utah and holds a special place in his heart for this often misunderstood place.

Brad has been heavily involved in technical development at Ohio Distinctive Software for the past 9 years. Brad lead the publishing of 13 educational CD-ROM titles and assisted in the development of 18 others during this time. He has also developed many in-house software systems to support the sale and marketing of these titles. Brad developed software for the Computer Science and Engineering Department at OSU from 2002 to 2004.

Along with good friend Jeremy Schweitzer, Brad co-founded the company Programming Art, LLC and has published 3 software titles for that company. PA develops custom software solutions for McGraw Hill Companies and numerous Ohio-based small businesses.

Brad has diverse tech interests and experience. From multimedia programming in Adobe Director to Unix system administration (FreeBSD in particular), he is a strong believer in allowing “the need” to choose the appropriate tool. In most recent times, Brad finds himself using PHP, Perl and MySql more often than not. Brad plans to develop Ishida Tech Solutions, Ltd. to be the public interface to his I.T. services-for-hire and the home of future independently developed software projects.
